Basketmouth, faced backlash on social media recently over his UK tour which was held during the presidential election
popular comedian Bright Okpocha also known as Basket Mouth, has offered an explanation as to his inability to cast a vote in the 2023 elections.
Basket Mouth claimed that he was qualified to vote but his staging abroad and in other countries were arranged more than a year in advance to secure a suitable location.
He further explained that he was unable to vote in the presidential elections as traveling back to Nigeria would have presented logistical challenges.
In his words, “I have always spoken up about the wrongs in this country. It’s quite unfortunate that I missed the elections this year. However, my international show are planned one year so as to secure the date and venue.
