Immediate past Osun Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, has felicitated the National Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Christopher Iyiola Omisore on his induction as a Fellow of The Nigerian Academy of Engineering.

Oyetola, in a statement he personally signed, described the feat as well deserved, saying the APC scribe was eminently qualified for the professional elevation.

According to an advertorial signed by the Honorary Secretary, Nigerian Academy of Engineering, Engr. (Mrs.) C. O. Adelowo, Senator Omisore will be inducted as a Fellow of the Academy on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023, at J. F. Ade Ajayi Auditorium, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State.

Oyetola lauded the former Osun Deputy Governor for his selfless service to humanity, noting that the elevation was a testament to his avowed commitment to the growth and development of the Engineering profession in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.

He said: “I am particularly elated to identify with and celebrate our very own and one of the best engineers in the country, Senator Iyiola Omisore on the occasion of his induction as a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering.

“To say you have written your name on the sands of time is to say the least. By your immeasurable imprints, there is no doubt in the fact that you have successfully carved a niche for yourself as a thoroughbred professional, technocrat and democrat of repute, as reflected in your professional prowess, competence, capacity and capability in the engineering sector.

“We are proud of you not only as an engineer of note but as an illustrious son and industrious citizen of Osun whose impacts on socioeconomic, infrastructural and political advancement of our dear State cannot be quantified.

“This is yet another feather in your cap and a great feat in your engineering sojourn, signalling and crowning your tremendous contributions to the success of the profession in general and progress of your co-practitioners in particular.

“On behalf of myself and family, I congratulate you wholeheartedly for ascending a great feat in your profession and I beseech Almighty God to continue to uphold you and your family as you continue to impact and invest more in humanity through your philanthropic gestures and love for all and sundry, regardless of socioeconomic or political affiliations.”
