A nursing mother, identified as Iyawo Ori-Ade, has died as a result of injuries she sustained in an accident when a private car rammed into the commercial motorcycle conveying her on Friday.
According to information obtained by The media, the woman died on Saturday, and as a result of her death, her Agunbelewo area, residents have been thrown into mourning.
The mediaย gathered that Iyawo Ori-Ade was on a commercial motorcycle to pay electricity bill around 3pm on Friday when a Toyota Camry car with Lagos registration number; KRD 930 HV, hit the commercial motorcycle.
According to an eyewitness, Sunkanmi Ayodele, โThe car driver, Bello Ayodeji, was going to Okinni when he lost control of the car and crashed into the oncoming motorcycle.
โThe woman and the rider sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the Osun State University Teaching Hospital for treatment, where she eventually died.โ
The Spokesperson of the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola also confirmed the accident.
Opalola said, โThe passenger died in the hospital she was rushed to for treatment.
โHer corpse has been deposited in the mortuary for autopsy.”
