A United States district court on Tuesday, sentenced Olalekan Ponle, better known as Woodberry, to eight years in jail over fraud. Woodberry is an ally of Ramon Abbas, who is as popular as Hushpuppi, another Nigerian who was imprisoned for Internet fraud in November 2022. Police in Jigawa State have busted two motorcycle robbery gangs who have been dispossessing the public of their belongings. Spokesman of the command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, confirmed the incident in a statement issued to DAILY POST.
