The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that registration will close on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, and Direct Entry (DE) e-PIN sales will end on Saturday, May 26, 2023.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Acting Director of Public Affairs, issued a statement urging all genuine DE candidates who have not yet registered to do so to do so because the Board would not consider any further extensions.

The assertion reviewed that the 2023 DE enrollment, which started in February 2023, was reached out for all wanting possibility to enlist and was, at a point, suspended to work with the consolidation of specific protections intended to upgrade the holiness of the activity.

“The 2023 DE registration is different from many others because it came with some features that helped the Board be able to permanently close those loopholes that some vested interests had been using.

However, the rise in the number of candidates running for one or two of our offices was not at all unexpected.

“While, the new system which has uncovered the quantum of instances of distortions and different infractions in the DE esteem chain as announced is one of the many additions of the controlled DE enrollment work out.

“Something beneficial about the activity is that the Board has had the option to catch just meriting up-and-comers with just pockets of extraordinary competitors staying in several Board’s workplaces especially in Lagos. In order to prevent any further instances of overcrowding, the statement stated that “the Board has adopted a scheduling system whereby candidates are allocated to specific days for their DE registration even here.”

It further noticed the consideration of the Board has likewise been attracted to the unwholesome activities of a few instructional exercise communities and a few frantic guardians, who were scheming with nearly ‘A’ level instructional exercise habitats to execute acts against the schooling area and public interests.

“Thus, the Load up is rehashing its assurance to constantly develop means and approaches to checkmating all demonstrations of infractions and simultaneously wouldn’t hold back to force suitable approvals on any A’level granting establishments viewed as caring about.

It stated, “All A’level institutions are urged to remain vigilant due to the deliberate intentions of desperate candidates to compromise their operations.”
