Former Premier League midfielder, Nigel Reo-Coker, expects West Ham United captain Declan Rice to join Manchester City ahead of the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
Rice has attracted interest from Premier League top clubs and some of the biggest clubs in Europe, with West Ham already confirming the midfielder will likely be sold.
West Ham are holding out for an offer of around ยฃ100 million for the England international, having rejected Arsenalโs opening bid of ยฃ80 million.
While Arsenal remain optimistic of signing the 24-year-old, the Gunners face competition from London rivals Manchester City, Chelsea as well as Manchester United.
โWhere is he [Rice] going? That is going to be interesting,โ Reo-Coker said on BBC Radio Five Liveโs Football Daily Podcast.
โThis is the midfielders market this year. Personally, I think he wants to go to Arsenal, but I think West Ham wonโt make it easy for him.
โThere is real interest from Manchester City, too, with the situation with [Ilkay] Gundogan and [Bernardo] Silva.
โI do personally believe there is strong interest from there, but I could see him going to Man City if Iโm honest. That is just my personal opinion.โ
