The Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) has been instructed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to share information and intelligence with security agencies.

In the war against terrorism, information hoarding, according to President Tinubu, may be detrimental.

The President stated after seeing the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Abuja’s new Office of National Security Adviser and its facilities.

President Tinubu emphasized the value of supporting such efforts with knowledge while praising the counterterrorism efforts shown and the cutting-edge amenities at the two institutions.

He claimed that his administration had realized the importance of placing security at the top of the priority list in order to achieve economic recovery, prosperity, and progress.

The fact that we are receiving proactive resources to our preparations.

“Terrorism is not just a problem in Nigeria. It exists all around the world, and we must battle it. We must absolutely eradicate it.

“We as Nigerians must prioritize security if we want to see economic recovery, prosperity, and growth.

“What I have witnessed here is an illustration of intelligence counterterrorism activities. This needs to be supported by facts.

“Any nation will not benefit from counterterrorism that is not supported by information and intelligence. Together, we will work on that.

“The entire nation’s armed forces must coordinate their efforts so that national security is the only thing they are concentrating on.

You cannot possess discord in a musical ensemble. We must cooperate, communicate, pool our intelligence, and intensify our efforts with a single tunnel in mind.

“You can’t hoard knowledge. You can’t keep knowledge in a vault. I am pleased that Nigeria is moving in the right direction. I can tell you we will.

“I’m here this morning because we’ll make it a priority,”

President Tinubu reaffirmed his preparedness to do whatever is required to assist the country’s security architecture and hailed the facility tour at the new ONSA headquarters as being of utmost importance.

Major-General Babagana Monguno (Rtd), the NSA, congratulated the President for making the visit his first engagement outside the Villa and said that “it reinforces his commitment, dedication, and inflexible rigidity to ensuring that the security misfortunes of the country are not repeated.”

The Federal Republic of Nigeria and the surrounding territory are overpowered as soon as possible.

Monguno promised that ONSA would provide everything it had to see that President Tinubu kept his security-related commitments to the Nigerian people.
