The Speaker of the Kwara House of Assembly, Mr. Yakubu Salihu, disclosed this during his valedictory remarks session on Wednesday. During the current legislative session, the Kwara House of Assembly said it passed 29 people-oriented bills and 58 motions, seven of which were private.
According to him, seven of the total were private members’ bills.
According to Salihu, during the time under review, resolutions were passed on 58 motions and 38 reports from various House committees through the effective use of public hearings and other necessary legislative tools.
The last four years, according to the speaker, have been unprecedented in state legislative history.
He expressed gratitude to the state’s residents for their support of the 9th Assembly.
